The phrase "California accent" refers to speech spoken with a neutral American accent. This accent (or lack of an accent) is characteristic of almost all American movie stars, news anchors, and celebrities. Here's a that explains this in more detail.
Our roots go back to California's famous Silicon Valley and we retain the entrepreneurial spirit of that culture. We value excellence, efficiency, and innovation. We respect good ideas regardless of the source. We give back to the community where we live because we believe social resonsibility makes us stronger.
